I’m Sian, a women’s health & fitness coach and a busy wife and mum of two children. I provide online & in person Personal Training and Holistic Core Restore® Coaching in and around Stafford, plus an online Membership Hub  My aim is to help women at any age or life stage to feel fit, healthy, happy, and confident in their bodies, whatever that means to them.

I am proud to have helped many women on their health & fitness journey since I launched Fresh Start Fitness in 2012, and since then I have been on my own journey too.

I’ve had babies, now juggle childcare and school, and am entering perimenopause like many of my clients. That means from new mums wondering how to exercise safely, to wanting to address a pelvic floor that doesn’t allow you to do what you’d like, to simply wanting to feel fit and strong in your 40s and beyond – I ‘get it’ and can help develop an approach that fits in with life’s demands, and is right for YOU, now.

I help women to feel fit, healthy, happy, and confident in their body, whatever that means to them.

I am proud to have helped many women on their health & fitness journey since I launched Fresh Start Fitness in 2012, and since then I have been on my own journey too.

I’ve got married, had babies of my own, returned to work, juggle childcare and school, and am now entering perimenopause, just like many of my clients. That understanding of what their body has been through, what it will be going through, plus managing ‘life’ means I get it and can help them to develop a realistic approach to health and wellness that fits in with their everyday lives and recognises what their body needs now.

Who I help

  • Are you pregnant? I deliver safe and effective pregnancy wellness programmes to help you to feel strong, confident and prepared for birth.
  • Are you a new (or not so new) mum?  Once postnatal, always postnatal! You might be a new mum, or your babies might be big now but the impact of pregnancy and birth can often be felt long after the event. We work on returning you safely to exercise by improving your core and pelvic floor strength and regaining fitness whether your children are 2 months, 2 years, or adult.
  • Do you ‘leak’? We work on overcoming issues associated with pelvic floor dysfunction, from ‘leaks’ to symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse is . We address issues from the ‘inside out’, and get you moving effectively to enable you to do whatever you love more confidently.
  • Do you have a tummy gap (diastasis)? We work on reducing diastasis (abdominal separation), improving core strength through movement and addressing the wider lifestyle factors which might be hindering your recovery.
  • Are you in your 30s or 40s and looking for fitness and fat loss in those stubborn areas? We will aim to get you regularly active by finding what makes you tick, and building it into your life to improve your long-term health, fitness and wellbeing. We also consider the whole picture to address the underlying factors which may be contributing to tiredness and weight gain.

My network

I am committed to providing the best service to my clients and for me, that means aligning myself with trusted clinical experts whose knowledge or skills I draw upon when I need to.

Why? In short, sometimes different skills are required to help me to deliver what my client needs and recognising my own limits is an important part of that.

My ‘tribe’ is an essential part of me doing the best job I can.

My network which includes:

  • Women’s Health Physiotherapists. In an ideal world, every client I work with, regardless of age or life stage would have an internal pelvic health assessment or a ‘Mummy MOT’ with a Women’s Health Physiotherapist. I work locally with Physios who have not only helped me with my own pelvic health rehab during and after pregnancy and birth, but whom I refer clients to for clinical assessment. In turn they will refer patients who are ready for safe, pelvic floor friendly exercise to me.
  • Experts in musculoskeletal and muscular conditions spanning Osteopathy, Chiropody, and Deep Tissue massage.
  • In addition, as a Holistic Core Restore® Coach, I am incredibly fortunate to have daily access to programme creator and educator Jenny Burrell. The network of over 100 coaches also provide expertise spanning physiotherapy, midwifery, pilates, weight training, soft tissue therapy and fellow personal trainers.
