About me
I’m Sian, a women’s health & fitness coach and mum of two. I provide online & in person Personal Training and Holistic Core Restore® Coaching from Stafford to Newport, plus an online Membership Hub. I am proud to have helped many women on their health and fitness journey since I launched Fresh Start Fitness in 2012. Never a gym-bunny, I came to exercise late, but through a great PT of my own came to value how movement made me feel. I knew I could impart that to other ‘exercise-phobes’ so made the move from Corporate PR to qualified Personal Trainer.
Since then I have been on my own journey.
I’ve birthed two babies, managed my own pelvic health recovery and return to exercise, done the childcare/work juggle, and I’m now entering perimenopause. So, I get it. I get you.
If you’re pregnant and wondering how to exercise safely, or newly postnatal and not sure how to return to doing what you loved – I can help.
Perhaps you want to address a pelvic floor that doesn’t allow you to do what you’d like anymore. I can help.
Maybe you want to understand your 35+ body better, and how to get it looking and feeling like you want it to. I can help.
Maybe you want to finally find what exercise works for you. I can help.
Maybe you just want to feel fit and strong. I can help.
I’ve been there, and I can develop an approach that fits in with life’s demands, and is right for YOU, now.

What can I help you with?
I can help you work on your health and fitness whatever your age or life stage, but here are the most common areas I support:
- Are you pregnant? I deliver safe and effective pregnancy wellness programmes to help you to feel strong, confident and prepared for birth.
- Are you a new (or not so new) mum? The impact of pregnancy and birth can often be felt long after the event. We work on returning you safely to exercise by improving your core and pelvic floor and regaining fitness for ‘real life’, whether your children are 2 months, 2 years, or adult.
- Do you ‘leak’? Through a combination of breathwork, pelvic floor work, education and exercise designed for real life, we’ll get you doing what you love again with confidence. Plus I’ll give you the ‘tools for life’ to manage your pelvic health.
- Are you over 35 and looking for fitness and fat loss? I’ll create an exercise programme for you that ticks everything you need to be doing at this life stage for a strong and healthy body. And I’ll educate you about the perimenopause and how to take a whole body approach – including nutrition, sleep and stress management – to address the factors which may contribute to weight gain and other common perimenopause symptoms.
- Do you have a tummy gap (diastasis), or a prolapse? We work on improving core and pelvic floor strength through movement, breathwork, and addressing wider lifestyle factors.
- Are you about to have gynae surgery or had it in the past? The lack of support for women pre and post surgery is shocking. I’ll help you prepare for surgery in terms of movement, nutrition and self care, and help you get safely back to what you love doing afterwards.
My network
I am committed to providing the best service to my clients and for me, that means aligning myself with trusted clinical experts whose knowledge or skills I draw upon when I need to.
Sometimes different skills are required to help me to deliver what my client needs and recognising my own limits is an important part of that.
My network includes:
- Women’s Health Physiotherapists. In an ideal world, every client I work with, regardless of age or life stage would have an internal pelvic health assessment or a ‘Mummy MOT’ with a Women’s Health Physiotherapist. I work locally with Physios who have not only helped me with my own pelvic health rehab during and after pregnancy and birth, but whom I refer clients to for clinical assessment. In turn they will refer patients who are ready for safe, pelvic floor friendly exercise to me.
- As a Holistic Core Restore® Coach, I am incredibly fortunate to have daily access to programme creator and educator Jenny Burrell. The network of over 100 coaches also provide expertise spanning physiotherapy, midwifery, pilates, weight training, soft tissue therapy and fellow personal trainers.
